W2能源公司(PINKSHEETS:WTWO)欣然宣布,它已完成10千瓦NT等离子发动机的建设并准备向图森市的亚利桑那大学的亚利桑那州太阳能研究所(AzRISE)发货。
AzRISE(www.azrise.org)将结合本发动机系统和压缩空气罐首次建造使用压缩空气、水蒸气和少量天然气的高效率储能系统。
W2 Energy, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: WTWO) is pleased to announce that it has finished constructing and is preparing to ship the 10 kilowatt NT Plasmatron system purchased by The Arizona Research Institute for Solar Energy (AzRISE ) at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
AzRISE (www.azrise.org) will be combining this engine system with compressed air tanks to deploy the first ever high-efficiency energy storage system using compressed air, water vapor and small amounts of natural gas.
Since October of 2010 when AzRISE ordered the NT Plasmatron system, W2 Energy has been building, testing and then optimizing every part of it - the Plasmatron, the SteamRay, the control systems and even the pipes and nozzles. Because of this focused and intense work, this system is ready for manufacturing and sales to municipalities, utilities and corporations worldwide.
W2 Energy technicians will travel to Tucson to install the system and instruct the AzRISE technicians. AzRISE will integrate the NT Plasmatron system with their own compressed air tanks and control electronics, test the overall system, and publish the first test results, likely by the end of summer 2011.
"This AzRISE Plasmatron system will help large scale commercial and municipal buyers of electricity dramatically lower their costs," says Mike McLaren, President and CEO of W2 Energy. "It will also help renewable energy compete with conventional sources of power."
